Today was Aubrey's DARE graduation. They have been learning about the effects of Drugs, Aclohol, and Tobacco. She had to write an essay about what she had learned in order to graduate. The class was taught by one of our city police officers. There were 5 officers at the graduation- I think that is all the police officers in our whole town!! The police station is next door to the school so the officer encouraged the kids to come in if they ever need anything- and he told them they are always stocked with donuts!! They got a cute t-shirt, a water bottle, and an arm band. The pics are kind of fuzzy because Damon couldn't hold still- he was leaning on me the whole time!!

When we were driving over to the school it started to hail- pretty hard! We are in a severe weather watch- because of a big ICE storm we are supposed to get. I have heard the ice can get really bad here but we haven't had one yet-- we'll see how this storm pans out!! Hopefully not too bad! Jaymz bus was 20 m in late bringing him home because of it! Luckily for Aubrey, I brought her home with me after the graduation so she wouldn't have to ride the bus!!

Such a drastic weather change for you guys I bet! Your kids are just growing up!
I can't believe that you have a kid old enough to do dare. It makes me feel so old. How big is the town you are living in anyways?
