Another Day Of Snow

I am looking forward to the day I can post something about sunshine or swimming or something like that!! Man this snow is killing me!! At least the kids had school today! A lot of the school districts were letting school out early, but not us! Aubrey was hoping they would go all day today because they were having a little party and watching a movie! Jaymz was excited for school today because in PE they were going to to Jazzercize so he didn't want to miss that!! I'm SO glad they are liking school!! Aubrey even told me she liked this school a little better than their school in Vegas- which I thought I'd NEVER hear! They had a lot of really good friends and teachers at that school- so I am really glad they are adjusting to life here in New England! Jaymz is picking up the accent- I'm not sure if it is on purpose or not but it is kind of driving me crazy!! I keep telling him to talk right but he doesn't!
here are a few examples of how they speak out here--
- they put an "R" at the end of a word that ends with an "A" like Toyotar, Hondar, Idear, sofar (sofa) Names like Donna would be Donnar and Paular
- they take out the "R" sound in wordsthat end in an "R" -- like Car is Caw, Hawba (harbor) dinna (dinner)
I think it is pretty funny- I just don't want Jaymz sounding like a baby- oh well right??
