I thought I'd post a couple of pictures of some tiles that I ordered from my parents. I'm going to try to get some pictures of the glass stuff they do!

My sister put this up on her blog and I thought it was good so I should put it on mine too!

My mom and dad have a family business that they have been working on for years and personally, I love the stuff they do! They engrave on Rock, Slate and Glass. They have set prices for the products that they sell - so depending on what size or specific product you want, it is a set price no matter what you want engraved on it; they don't charge you for every letter like most places. I figured since I love their stuff so much - I may as well put it on my blog so maybe all of you will love it too! You may be asking yourself... what exactly could I get? Well... let me give you a few ideas that you can run with!

*Pictures (Curtis and Jen had a picture frame on every table at their wedding reception that had an engraved saying or their names and date of our wedding - it looked great and it's a new idea for wedding receptions, gifts, or to remember your wedding day by!)

*Last name on Casserole Dishes (great for ward get togethers so you get yours back!)

*Popcorn Bowls(or any bowl for a gift basket)

*Mirrors
*Cups/Mugs

These are just a few examples of what they can do; the possibilities are endless! The products that they engrave are gifts that everyone will love whether it be for yourself or someone important to you! Customized gifts always mean more!

Snow Fun in April- almost????

I had to take a few pics of the kids playing in the snow! It is almost APRIL! I just can't believe how much snow we have! I took the pics through the window- (im no dummy) so sorry about the view through the screen! :)

ARE YOU KIDDING ME???

So this morning I got the kids up for school, wrote them out a check for lunch- (they like hot lunch on Fridays because it is pizza day) I got their things together for them and when it was about 7:30- 10 min before Aubrey has to go out to the bus- I turned on Good Morning America and there are all the school closings- so I got on their website instead of waiting through all of them, and YEP- No School!! It said there were over 335 school closings today!

I have been so excited lately because most of our snow was melted and it really was looking like spring was almost here! NOT NOW-- I feel like it should be Christmas!! We got about 5 inches overnight. If that's not depressing I don't know what is! Maybe I'll go into hibernation!!
RIDICULOUS!!!!!!!

Damon and the Dentist

Well today was finally the day Damon got to go the the Dentist to get his tooth pulled. He had a tooth ache for almost a month. They had him on antibiotics because it was so infected so they wanted to wait and let that kick in. She said it still was pretty infected (after 2 different antibiotics) so there was a lot of tissue stuck to the tooth when she pulled it- yuck!
Damon was SOOO good though! He was excited to go to the dentist this morning- he even knew the tooth was coming out! He got laughing gas and he thought that was great! They give them 100% oxygen afterwards so they are back to normal and don't have the laughing gas in them when they come home. I think that is good- though I wish he had a little so he would just "chill" today! NO SUCH LUCK!!!!! :)

American Idol and Poor Aubrey

Every time we pass a certain area in town Damon says "There is American Idol" It took me a while to figure it out, but it is the Ford dealership! Ford is one of the sponsors for the show and they do the Ford commercials and stuff alot during it. So this morning we were passing it and Damon said 'Mom lets go to American Idol!!" I said "What do you do there?" He said "Just watch it" I said "oh well what if they ask you to sing?" He said "I'm ready. I already know what I will sing." I said "what would you sing?" He said "It is a surprise! I can't tell you!"
I think it's pretty funny that he puts those 2 together! He doesn't really watch American Idol with me- It's amazing (and scary) how much kids get from a little TV!!

Poor Aubrey's cell phone was stolen! We took the kids to Fun World (like a chuck e cheese) on Friday night and it must have fallen out of her pocket. When we were getting ready to go she realized it was gone so James took her back in to look for it. James called it with his cell phone and some teenager answered it- James told him that it was his daughters and could he please give it back!! They hung up on him and then turned the phone off. James left a message later with his phone # so if they wanted to give it back they could call us- I'm sure that won't happen though! So Aubrey learned the hard way that there are dishonest people out there- and not to take your phone into places where you are going to be playing around!!!

Flashback Friday

Some of my friends have been doing a post on Fridays called "flashback friday" I thought it was a cute idea so here goes my flashback friday- I'm sure James will LOVE this one!!! :)

I think James was such a cute little kid that I thought I'd show some of his young pics! I really think my boys look alot like him now, but looking at his young pics I can't really see it. So what do you think??

Spy Gadget 3000 & Blond moments

I just have to say that sometimes I think Aubrey was supposed to be BLOND! She comes up with some crazy things! A couple of days ago she said "I have a question- Maybe I don't know what a buffalo looks like- Do they have wings?" I started laughing thinking that she was joking but she was dead serious! NO she hasn't seen the Jessica Simpson commercial about that (I don't think) She was SO bugged that thy are called buffalo wings if Buffalo's don't really have wings! Also she was trying to tell me about a boy in her class that has CCSD I was really confused so I asked what CCSD was- (thinking that it was text lingo or something) she said you know when kids can't pay attention! I said you mean ADHD? Oh ya whatever- she said! CCSD was our school district in Las Vegas!! :) She has A LOT of blond moments! It's pretty funny! :)

The Wii and GRASS!!!!!!

Well we gave in and bought a Wii- The kids wanted one SO bad and I just happened to be in the store when they got their shipment (of 6) so I grabbed one before the sold out again. We had been looking at buying SOMETHING so when I saw they had a few I decided to just do it!!
We have been having so much fun playing it--(so have the kids) James and I have been playing it at night! We have had some good tournaments with the kids!! My arm is always sore from really WORKING!! Kinda sad!

ALSO--I am SOO excited! I can see a little bit of grass today in our yard!! I was feeling like it will NEVER be spring here- but maybe just maybe I am wrong!!! It's amazing how a little bit of grass poking through can pick your spirits up!!! :) Even though it is raining like crazy and we are under a severe flood watch I am SOOOOO happy to see a tiny bit of GRASS!!

Dress up -- again

Today Damon was looking for his mini skateboard and ramp- I told him to look in his toy box- he has a million toys in there and I'm sure he didn't remember what was even in there- so he found his dress up stuff and some cool things he had forgotten about!

I decided I should post this so you know we really don't use garbage bags for dress up!! :)

Medicine and ModBe

The last medicine Damon took for his tooth ache didn't work so they gave him something different to try and he HATES it! Not only is it gross and he almost throws it up every time he takes it- he has to take it 3 times a day! Not good!! James even bribed him with a dollar every day he took all the medicine- didn't work! SO Damon came up with this great idea to eat a pickle after he takes the medicine to take the taste away! It actually works! He can take the medicine and hurry and throw the pickle in his mouth and he does just fine! I have no clue how he came up with the brilliant idea but it works so that is all that matters!!! Good thing he LOVES pickles!!!
