I can't believe I have a TEENAGER!! Aubrey is 13 today! She is such a great girl I really can't complain thus far! She definitely has her days but all in all she is so helpful and just a really good girl!! We are so thankful to have her in our family!!
We had a great 4th of July weekend! On Saturday James grilled out. We invited a few families over and we hung out.
We aren't allowed to do fireworks in Jefferson County, so on Sunday we took all our fireworks over to our friends the Childress (who live in Shelby County) and combined ours with theirs! It was an Awesome little show!! The boys(by boys I mean MEN) had a great time playing with fire!! Ü We were out doing fireworks for almost 3 hours!! It was a great time!!
Our good friends the Martins are moving to Las Vegas in a couple of weeks and the boys wanted to have a sleep over with their boys before they left. So all the kids ended up having a sleep over last night. James and I got to sleep in today! It was so nice!! James was off so we hung out and did a few errands and cleaning before the kids came home! It was nice to relax on his day off!
I LOVE my husband but really? Who needs this many fireworks? I know he can't do things on a small scale but sheesh! (the kids are thrilled though)
We have been spending lots of time at the pool these days... Between our Alabama adventure Season Passes and our friends inviting us to their pool, we are out almost every day! Since there really isn't much more to do around here in the summer we'll take it!! The kids LOVE LOVE LOVE the water! It has been so great this year to be able to just sit back and relax!!
