Nashville

My brother Todd flew home with me and is staying for a week. James had to work in Huntsville so we decided to ride with him and then drive in to Nashville. It is about 1 hour and a half past Huntsville. It was raining really hard the whole way there, but once we got there it tapered off and it was great! We stopped off in the Country Music Hall Of Fame, walked around downtown, saw the Titans stadium, and walked around the Grand Ole Opry Hotel. We met up with my friend April and her 4 cute girls at the hotel. We had a good time!

Last few days in Utah

Todd took us out boating with his friend LuAnn. We had so much fun! Jen and Shaylie came too! We LOVE tubing! It is so fun!!!

Aubreys B-day

So, I'm a little late, but I'm just getting to the rest of my Utah pics!! Aubrey's birthday was July 21. I can't believe I have a 12 year old!! She is such a good girl! She LOVES kids and babies. She loves to babysit and she does great so that is nice! She loves to draw and is very crafty. (something I am NOT!!)
We had a little get together at the park for her birthday. She basically planned a party for the younger kids. She made up little games with prizes and was in charge! It was cute that she wanted to do something for all the kids- she is the oldest of the grand kids.
She had a great time! Thanks to everyone who came!!

loose tooth

Damon came to me on Thursday night when he was going to bed so excited that he had his first loose tooth! He has been dying to have a loose tooth! It wasn't real loose so we told him it would probably take a few days before it fell out. So the next day we drove to Orem and the kids went to grandma Allens house to play for a little bit while me and my mom went shopping. After about 10 min of us leaving, Aubrey texted me saying that he lost his tooth. He was SOO excited! I guess he was trying to open a cap on an empty medicine bottle and it popped his little tooth right out! He thinks he is so big!

Cousins

While Brian and Mallory were up last weekend we decided to get a cousin picture. Trace was only 3 weeks old. He is so darling! Since we can never seem to get all the adults together we decided cousins would be fun!!

MORE UTAH

We have been doing a bunch of things while we are here in Utah. We celebrated my moms birthday at the park while waiting for softball games. Aubrey made a cake for her while she was at Grandma Allens earlier that day. We got her a nice fire pit for their back yard. We have gotten plenty of use out of it so far! :)

Brian and Mal came down from Blanding with their brand new baby Trace, cute Brody and their 2 dogs Trixie and Tug. We had a fun weekend hanging out and relaxing! We also got a cousins picture so that was fun!

We have also gone to the AF pool a couple of times! We love that pool- it has something for every age and it is cheap!!



Since the fireworks were canceled on the 4th because of the weather they did them on Monday. They were really good! Every time we thought they were over, they just kept going! They lit them off about 200 yards from us! They were right on top of us! Shaylie loved them- she even fell asleep at the end of them! My parents have the best seat in the town!!! They had police cars right at my parents driveway blocking it off so no one could come up by us!

4th of July and more

We had a fun 4th of July! It was fun to hang out with my family and do the small town thing! Moroni does as great little parade. They throw a ton of candy! The kids thought that was awesome! They even have a crop duster come by and drop ping pong balls out- if you get one you take it to a little booth and get a prize! Aubrey, Jaymz and Damon were all lucky enough to get a ping pong ball! They won a soda and a sucker! We hung out at my parents house and had a big horse shoe tournament- Todd and I were partners- we totally sucked but it was fun! The kids played on a slip n slide and just ran around.Later that night it started to get stormy and really windy so the fireworks were canceled. Hopefully they do them before we leave UT--the fireworks show is supposed to be the best- plus they shoot them off right next door to my mom and dads so its awesome!

ONLY in Moroni

We are here at my mom and dad's house in Moroni! It is a really small town- no stop lights and people ride 4 wheelers around town! The kids were outside today playing when they came in saying they wanted to go across the street to the park and do the slip and slide- we looked out to see what they were talking about and found some neighbors out there with a HUGE black tarp and a small fire truck spraying the foam out. The kids had a pillow in a trash bag sliding down and having a BLAST!!! So we took the kids over and let them play!! They thought it was the greatest thing EVER!!











Aubrey didn't do the slip n slide.. she was busy making her annual 4th of July cake- she did cupcakes this year! I think they turned out really cute!
