Back to normal- sort of???

Well, Jaymz and Aubrey started school today!! Aubrey was really nervous! She is moving from Elementary to Middle school just like that!! She is nervous that she will forget her locker combination! She had a locker in her last school, but they didn't really use them and they didn't have a lock on them. We found out today that she has to wear a PE uniform so she was a little nervous about that too!! I felt a little bad leaving her today jsut because I could tell she was so nervous! A girl in the office asked me what grade Aubrey was going into and when I said 6th she said OH- she is tall for 6th grade! I thought you were going to say 8th! Aubrey just looked at me like oh great here we go!! :)
The school is really big, but they have it set up like 3 different schools- 6th grade, 7th grade and 8th grade. All her classes are down the same hall and that's where her locker is. I think once she gets used to it it will be fine!! I hope she makes some friends quick!!

I was going to take Jaymz this morning so I could meet his teacher, but he asked me if he could just ride the bus. He said that is the best way to make friends quick, and he would rather do that- so I let him! I took Aubrey though- her counselor wanted to meet with us for a min this morning to explain everything!!
It feels a little weird to be home just with Damon again but I'm glad we finally got the kids in school! I'm sure they will have plenty of stories to tell when they get home!!
As for me and Damon- I think we will wash my car and enjoy the beautiful weather!!

I'm glad you're somewhat settled. I'm excited to read your blog about their first day of school and read how it went. Hope everything else is going well. I did reply to your post on mine about Twilight! I really liked it and am already 100 + pages into the next one.

Hope Aubrey had a good time at school I'm sure they will both make friends really quickly. How come Damon and I can't view Aubrey's or Jaymz' blog I guess we're not cool enough. P.s. Is Shannon reading twilight I already read the whole series I loved all four books.

Fun day at school for kids and for mom and Damon. New experiences. Wow, I am sure they will all add up for some good life experiences to fall back on later. Your kids will be able to feel comfortable in different situations because of this probably, when the rest of us would fall apart. Good on ya'll. Alabama talk you know!

I am so glad that you guys are safe and sound and settling in your new home. I cannot believe it, you were here one day and gone the next and have already picked up in a whole new life and you wouldn't even know you were just here. Life is crazy. We are never going to be able to move. Kevin will not even list the house until it is 100% PERFECT. I think we are going to have a long road ahead of us. I am just happy for you that you have been able to make your move so smoothly. Good luck with everything including making new friends. Let us know how your new ward is and if they can evern compare to us. We are going to miss you. :( I love it that you keep up on your blog so regularly and that we can read up on how your life is.
