The Beach

We went to Siesta Key on Friday afternoon and Saturday afternoon! The kids had a blast! The water was warmer than the New Hampshire beaches-- which isn't hard to do! But it's too cold for the locals! They say you can tell the visitors from the locals this time of year because the locals are the ones just playing in the sand!!! Damon said that was his favorite part of the vacation- The Beach!!!

It sounds like you guys had a great trip. Too bad that you had to go home. It is nice to be in 80 degree weather. I miss that already and the Winter has just begun. We really missed you guys at our New year's Eve party. it just wasn't the same without you. Kevin even said that he really misses hanging out with you guys. Way to up and leave us. Have fun in the sun.

Ahhhh... Looks great! It's only 10 degrees here in Utah. Enjoy the Sunshine!

Okay, you better stop posting pictures now...you're making me sooo jealous! I loved that last year I was the one making everybody jealous with the heat in Vegas.

Looks like you had a great time!

What a fabulous way to spend the new year . . . on the beach and enjoying perfect BBQ weather with friends and family. Made me laugh how you said it was too cold for the locals. We had a similar experience when we went to San Diego in February . . . we rented a convertible and drove around with the top down and the locals thought we were nuts.

THINK I'LL VOTE FOR YOUR TRIP. THE BEACH IS LOOKING AND SOUNDING LIKE AN INCREDIBLE TREAT RIGHT NOW. WE ARE GETTING DUMPED ON AND THE VERY THOUGHT OF GOING OUT TO SHOVEL THE DRIVEWAY MAKES ME ACTUALLY ENJOY THE COMPUTER....

Starring out the window at 20 inches of snow in my backyard. Jealous doesn't even begin to cover it! So fun.
