Aubrey and a couple of friends decided that they wanted to make cupcakes for the cast of the musical! (Any excuse to get together and make a mess!) So they had been planning for a few weeks who would bring what and all the details. Last night was it! they were so funny! They had so much fun decorating about 65 cupcakes! They had the music cranked up and sang and danced and were so funny! I had a little trouble keeping the boys from bugging them too much, but what are little brothers for right? When they got done they got the blow up matress out and made a bed in the livingroom and watched a movie. I was really surprised when I came down about 11:30 and they were all asleep! They did have to get up early for rehearsal so that worked out GREAT!!
This morning they woke me up about 7:00 asking if they could make the box of hot rolls we had in the pantry before they had to go to rehearsal- so a while later I went downstairs to check on them and they were in a pan covered just waiting for them to rise. I started cleaning up a little bit and came across a packet of YEAST- I said to Aubrey, Why didn't you use this? She said oh, that's the frosting for it! Oh they joys of 12 year old girls!! haha They tried them anyway, but they were NASTY~ So we made toast for them really quick instead! At least the cupcakes turned out! Ü

I am quite sure it would be a unanimous vote.....the cupcakes win over the rolls. As for the frosting for the rolls, well, that would have been interesting had she gotten to that point??????
Looks like a fun time. I'm so sad I won't be there for the play. I am sure Aubrey will do a great job.

What was it on the yeast packet that made them think it was frosting? You know what's TOO FUNNY, is the's something we would have done at that age if we were making them together. HA HA !!!

Those cupcakes are so fun! I hope the cast liked them!! I love she is so creative adn glad the girls had fun.
