We made it!!

Well, we are here! Everything went pretty smooth for the most part. The movers came on Monday and boxed basically everything up. They left our beds so we would have somewhere to sleep. On Tuesday they packed the last few things and loaded everything. We finished cleaning and our good friend Lisa Childress took us to the hotel. It was a long day and we were all exhausted! We had to be up at 6:00 the next morning to fly out so we all went to sleep fast! Then next morning we got to the airport about 7:00am. We flew to Charlotte and then had about a 3.5 hour lay over there. Then we flew to Florida. That made for a long day, but with the DS, Ipod touch, and cell phones, the kids were able to stay entertained!!

We stayed in James corporate housing Wednesday and Thursday night and then the movers were here on Friday morning. On Friday morning Lil' Jaymz woke up sick. He stayed at the corporate housing and slept for a few hours. He felt better when he woke up so I went and got him. The movers got us unloaded pretty quick! While they were unloading the boxes, James, Aubrey and I were unpacking them and putting things away. (Damon kept himself busy by catching grasshoppers, riding his bike (once it got off the truck) Swimming in the pool (which was FREEZING) and chit chatting with the movers! (Im sure they loved that) Ü

The movers were gone by about 4:30. We had a bunch of the boxes already unloaded so they took those with them. That was nice- We finished unpacking almost all the boxes that night. It seemed to go pretty fast! Once we were done with that, we went grocery shopping to fill up the pantry!!

Saturday morning we got up and started hanging all the decorations. I am feeling mostly put together now! There are still a few things to do but not much. My Big wall mirror got broken so I am waiting on the claims department to get back to me on that. One of my decorative pumpkin stems got broken off and my Jewelry tree branch broke off too but nothing too big!

While I was finishing cleaning up yesterday James took the kids over to the little playground we have here. They had fun making themselves sick on the spinning toys! They also walked around the little walking trails and lake. I think we are going to like it here! Ü

Holy chickens dude! Your casa rocks. Looks like a good time. How many weeks will it be before there are 100 people there for dinner? Congrats, glad everything went smoothly. I'm seriously impressed that you are all put together already.

Glad everything went so well. I'm sure julie is right it won't be long before a crowd invades that cute home for dinner. Oh, and Jacob was sad to learn yesterday that he lost his sunday dinner buddies.

So glad you guys made it safe! I am jealous of your pool. Seeing your kids jumping in reminded me of our many days at the Camden pool!
